what a crazy month! the girls and i went to hilton head with nanny and pop-pop for almost a week and jeremy was able to spend the last part of the trip with us. it was so great to watch the girls gain more confidence in the water (even though it was a little cool for most people). thankfully, nanny doesn't seem to care about water temps. we visited a great park and the girls got to play some mini-golf with jeremy.

we also celebrated mothers day, our anniversary, and jeremy's birthday this month. we had some special visitors come to town for memorial day weekend- uncle brian and auntie marissa (aka uncle b and auntie rissa). it was so great to see them and the girls loved every second of their time with them.

weekend at the beach

we had another great weekend at the beach! we went strawberry picking the day we got there and the girls loved it! the weather was beautiful, so we hit the beach and pool as well. on saturday, we had a special visitor- auntie jen! the girls had a great time with her and LOVE their new clemson t-shirts (pics of those coming soon...).

ok, so it's been quite some time since my last post! i have received so many requests for pictures but of course i knew i had a ton to upload...... so here i am. it has been a great month for us. the girls and i took a quick road trip up to NJ to visit with auntie kim and her 3 boys, uncle drew, noah and nicholas. it was so great to see them even though kim and i had our hands full for a few days. they just moved into an awesome new house! after our trip, we had some very special visitors here in raleigh.............. uncle josh, auntie amy and cousin ian!!!!!!!!!! we had an AMAZING visit with them and the girls talk about ian almost every day. it was like having friends AND family visit at the same time :) hope you are enjoying the spring weather- we sure are!

our big news!

by the end of the summer, there will be a brand new house waiting for us on this lot! we are so excited to watch our new home be built- almost everyday maya asks if the builder is done "drawing his picture" yet of what the new house is going to look like. we'll update you on the progress with pictures every month or so! stay tuned!

spring is in the air!

it's been in the 70's here! we have officially declared it spring!!!!! it's soooo nice to be outside again :)

swim lessons!

ava and daddy took swim lessons together for a month! ava loved every second of it.....

we took a ride down to the new children's museum here in raleigh a few weeks ago. the girls had a fabulous time and were entertained for over 3 hours! take a look at some of our smiles.... :)
