july 4th

the girls rode in their first july 4th parade this year- they decorated their bikes (and themselves for that matter) to be part of the festivities! proud to be americans :)

Too tired

I had the hardest time trying to get Ava up from her nap today- all this swimming is hard work! Kids are just the cutest when they sleep :)

maya had her first swim meet tonight! she did awesome!! she swam the freestyle and backstroke and even won her heat in the backstroke..... we are so proud of our little shark!

it rained every single day of our vacation but we were able to squeeze in a few family shots one day.  i love them!  :)

we enjoyed a little family get-a-way last weekend to hilton head, sc. it's hard to believe we were playing in the snow in the beginning of the week and then swimming in the ocean just a few days later! we had a great time :)
