maya had a kindergarten field trip today to Vollmer farm..... we had a great time!

We went to Nanny and PopPop's house for the long weekend. The girls were so happy to have one last beach weekend!!!

our 1st playdate

So... Maya had a friend over after school today. Beside Ella and Owen (who we've been friends with for years- so they don't really count) , we haven't crossed this line yet. Is this what I am to expect? The playroom was even worse but Jeremy got to that before I got my camera out! I tried so hard to be the cool Mom who doesn't go upstairs every 10 minutes... but this is what happened!!??!??!? All in all, it was a huge success- Maya was actually asleep by 7pm because she was so exhausted from the day's events. Can't ask for more than that! :)

i can't deal with snakes and spiders... this guy was waiting for us on our front porch when we got back from the bus stop today!!!!

they don't look alike at all, right???

we were sitting at dinner the other night and i realized how much these 2 look alike.... crazy how that happens! :)

july 4th

the girls rode in their first july 4th parade this year- they decorated their bikes (and themselves for that matter) to be part of the festivities! proud to be americans :)

maya had her first swim meet tonight! she did awesome!! she swam the freestyle and backstroke and even won her heat in the backstroke..... we are so proud of our little shark!
